Root Karbonn A9+ / CM Flare

VIA STOCK RECOVERY

• Download rs rom v0.6
• Place this file in your SD Card
• Boot into Recovery Mode
• To do so, Turn off your phone and then press Volume Up+Power Key and hold it until you see a red screen
• But first you will see a green screen then you will see red screen
• Release keys when you see Red Screen
• Then you will see a list of options
• Use Vol up and Vol down keys to move up and down and Power Key to select the options
• You will see a option : Install Zip from SD Card OR Apply update from SD Card
• Select that option
• Then you will see the contents of your SD Card
• Locate the file you downloaded
• Select that file
• Then wait for 2-3 mins
• Then you will see a message : Install from SD Card complete
• Then select Reboot System Now
• Finally you have rooted your phone

Steps

• Enable USB debugging on Karbonn A9+ by going, settings>Developer options>USB debugging, enable USB debugging check box.
• Download, unpack Bin4ry Rooting Toolkit into 1 folder to root karbonn a9+
• Double Click (Run): RunMe.bat

 
(Note: Open RunMe.bat not RunMe.sh)

• Press "1" when launched (Normal Mode) for rooting karbonn a9+

Note: you can unroot karbonn a9+ after rooting by pressing X if you rooted and want to un-root.

• It will root automatically and will display as above.
• When done, press any key
